Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country and Swing
Andrew London plays in two bands "Hot Club Sandwich" (equal parts jazz/blues/country/folk/rock'n'roll with a bit of old time English Music Hall) and "The Cattlestops" (a five piece country-rock band, occasionally dabbling in old time Western Swing).

Andrew on acoustic guitar & vocals is joined by Terry Crayford on acoustic bass & vocals, Nils Olsen on sax / clarinet / flute & vocals and Neil Billington (occasionally) on harmonica and vocals.

Andrew’s quirky, slightly satirical original songs have become the backbone of the trio’s repertoire for over a decade as they have entertained audiences in pubs and cafes, at art and jazz festivals all over New Zealand, in Sydney and on Norfolk Island.

Hot Club Sandwich have six CDs to their credit: 2007’s “Café Matrix” being the latest.  2004’s “Toasted” earned them a rare four-star review in the USA ’s “Downbeat” magazine, the world’s most widely-read and longest-standing jazz publication.  

The Cattlestops
The Cattlestops are a five piece country-rock band, occasionally dabbling in old time Western Swing. Members are:
Andrew London (vocals and guitar), Dave Berry (guitar), James Cameron (vocals and bass), Evan Wiliams (drums) and Colleen Trenwith (violin).

Repertoire is about 50/50 originals and covers. Songwriting duties are shared fairly evenly between London and Cameron. 

Album Award finalist and movie soundtrack
The Cattlestops have recorded and released two CDs, the most recent of which ,"Back to Rosetta Rd" was one of three finalists for 2007's 'Best Country Album' Tui award, despite being panned by high-profile critic Simon Sweetman for having too much local content.  Six tracks were used in the Paul Murphy-directed film "Second-hand Wedding".
