Bradley Garner
Singer, songwriter and guitarist, Bradley Garner falls under the ‘acoustic rock’ genre. Originally from Swindon, England, he now calls Paraparaumu home.
Bradley Garner is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. His love for the acoustic guitar has brought a new ‘twang’ to his music. This began in 2006 when he moved to New Zealand, while living in a motel and searching for a new home, Bradley bought a dark red Fender Squire electric guitar with a small amplifier. He was then given an acoustic guitar from his father’s friend; which sparked his love for the acoustic sound.
After only playing guitar for four years and singing for a mere seven months Bradley released a CD in March of 2010. ‘Take A Walk EP’ is a five track acoustic demo. No fancy guitar work, just a guitar, a voice, a set of bongos and a few shakers. He recorded these tracks with help of Jay Fitton at the local More FM studio.
As a local musician Bradley performs at local cafes and restaurants as often as possible. He has also performed at the Children’s Day and Emergency Services Expo, the Kapiti Karnival and many more local events.
Bradley is always writing new material; breaking from the pack he is now adding quick licks and fancy techniques to his songs in the studio, which are creating songs he never thought he’d create.
With help from friends, family and fans; Bradley’s music is spreading rapidly throughout the community, who knows what he has in store for us next?
