Inspiration
People and human emotion responses remain central to Duncan however inspiration is everywhere -
"It maybe the fleeting colour of a sunset, the grace of a resting ballerina, the exhilarating sound of waves upon rocks, the eroticism of a nude body, the sleek design of a new car, or the tired resignation in the face of the aged. There’s just so much to paint and sculpt - for life is incredible and people are intriguing!"
Currently, Duncan is working on a piece for a NZ artist exhibition at the Taupo Museum called 'Our land, our people'.
