Stefan Wolf
Musician, music-video maker.
Perennially unfashionable and virtually unsaleable, Stefan Wolf is an indefatigable songwriter and music video maker based in Paekakariki.
None of his five albums have received any particular feedback other than some mild shoulder patting from forgiving friends. His latest release, “How Much Do I Get For a Fiver?”, is a mini break-up album for temporarily lost souls. It’s bound to be another shelf sitter.
Stefan also does music videos that follow in the proud tradition of his music catalogue – none of them have ever screened on New Zealand television. Under the “One Shot Wonder” moniker, the videos can be found on YouTube where, somehow, they seem to be gathering some sort of audience.
Recently, Stefan gathered a few mates around under the banner of the “Paekakariki Music Club” and they have recorded a fund raising song and video for the local hall, St Peter’s Hall. It is hard to say how much this song has achieved but the hall has now been painted in a very fetching olive green colour, so things are looking quite good.
Stefan’s music is for sale at cdbaby.com He has a little recording studio and video editing suite set up in Paekakariki and is open to collaborations with anyone who has a creative bone in his or her body.
