Funky silver and copper jewelry
Tania creates individually designed and handcrafted jewellery using copper or sterling silver, often embellishing her pieces with enamelling.

Bangles, rings, earrings, brooches and necklaces are her most frequently made items.

Her forms and shapes expresses a feel for bold simplicty and often reflect the assymmetry found in the organic world.

Funky and fun to wear, her pieces are often abstract, always contemporary.

Bangles
Currently Tania is producing multiple bangle sets. Childhood memories of her mother and herself wearing many bangles at the same time - the sparkle, the sheen, the movement, the feel of the different bangles when they move together - has provided her inspiration.

Inspiration for designs comes in everyday life too, through observing the world and the people and things in it.

Training
Tania obtained a three year Certificate in Jewellery Manufacturing at the Open Polytechnic in Lower Hutt. To complement this she received two years mentoring from local jeweler Dianne Connal.

Being also a qualified Interior Designer has added to the creative scope of Tania's work.

Living in Waikanae, Tania works happily from her home studio.
